Simply Maid may suit ordinary hot-water extraction when you want to select the areas and coordinate an eligible house clean. Read the Adelaide carpet-cleaning scope before booking a delicate material or difficult stain. Our Adelaide home-cleaning page covers the rest of the property.

Swift Cleaning Adelaide publishes room packages and expressly names the Adelaide Hills and metropolitan area. Drymaster offers dry cleaning and extraction, with an inspected quote. This is a focused shortlist rather than a complete directory of Adelaide cleaners. A specialist outside it may be appropriate if your job needs rug treatment, repair or restoration that the standard offers do not cover.

A three-room package is only the beginning of this example

For three bedrooms, a hall and a staircase, price the two extra areas explicitly.

Swift’s current service page lists three rooms from $150, four for $200 and five for $250. Halls, stairs, rugs and stain removal attract additional charges. It does not state a room-size allowance, a small-job minimum or whether the shown amounts include GST, so those points need confirmation before treating the package as your total.

For the same measured job, Drymaster’s terms begin with a $149 minimum, include ordinary spots and make the final amount subject to inspection. That minimum does not establish its three-bedroom-plus-stairs quote. Ask for the full amount rather than choosing between $149 and $150 as though they price identical work.

How Simply Maid applies its steam-cleaning minimum. Other providers’ minimums, included work and fees must be confirmed separately.

A minimum is a floor, not an extra. Do not add both amounts together.

Simply Maid applies one steam-cleaning service minimum across selected carpet and suitable furnishing units. The minimum replaces a lower selected-work charge; it is not added on top. Fees belong in the full booking total. House cleaning has a separate scope.

Confirm the address behind an Adelaide or Hills listing

A regional coverage statement is useful for a shortlist; it does not establish travel cost, access or a free appointment.

Swift’s page expressly covers the Adelaide Hills, metropolitan Adelaide and surrounding areas. Give the full address when enquiring and ask whether any travel or access condition affects the quoted package. Avoid substituting a nearby suburb or a postcode alone when the equipment route needs explanation.

Describe the parking position, distance to the rooms, steps and whether the property has more than one level. Keep the number of carpeted steps to be cleaned separate from any stairs used to carry equipment. Drymaster’s published difficult-access condition concerns the route from its van, not just the cleaning area.

For Simply Maid, check the address and date through the booking process so an equipped cleaner can be confirmed. A live price shows the configured service cost; it does not by itself guarantee an appointment.

Match stain expectations to the accepted method

A marked or worn carpet may need a different scope from routine extraction.

Swift separately charges for stain removal and says cleaning does not repair carpet damage or general wear. Treat that distinction as a useful question for every quote: what improvement is the technician attempting, and what is likely to remain? Share photographs and the spill history before an appointment is allocated.

Simply Maid uses hot-water extraction after a suitability check and includes ordinary pre-treatment. It does not include carpet repair, flood restoration or specialist chemical-treatment packages. Drymaster’s dry and extraction options give another enquiry route, but the operator still needs the carpet details to propose an appropriate process.

For wool, an unknown fibre or an area rug, find the manufacturer’s instructions and ask the provider to assess suitability. The Carpet Institute’s care guidance is a useful starting point. A lower package price is not evidence that a method is suitable.

Make the furniture and drying plan part of the comparison

Compare the carpet that will actually be accessible and the time needed after cleaning.

Agree who moves small items and which large pieces remain. If a bed stays in place, the accessible carpet is a different scope from the same bedroom when empty. Ask whether the provider prices by the whole room or the accessible area. Simply Maid does not move heavy furniture; vacuum before a standalone carpet visit and keep power and water connected.

Ask the attending provider for drying advice based on the material, method and airflow available. A touch-dry claim does not establish when a heavy item can go back or when a closed property is ready for handover. Use our drying and aftercare guide to plan those questions.

Questions before you choose

Does a three-room Adelaide package include halls and stairs?

Not automatically. Swift explicitly charges extra for halls and stairs. For every provider, list those areas separately and ask for the complete amount.

Is the lowest advertised package also the provider’s minimum charge?

It can be, but the two are different facts. Swift lists a three-room package without specifying a smaller-job minimum in the reviewed page. Drymaster expressly publishes a $149 job minimum.

Can I use the metropolitan offer at an Adelaide Hills address?

Confirm the exact address and terms. Swift expressly lists both areas, but its coverage statement does not specify every travel condition or available date.

Will carpet cleaning fix traffic wear or permanent marks?

Cleaning can address removable soil but does not promise to repair damage, colour loss or general wear. Ask the technician to distinguish cleaning, stain treatment and any separate repair before agreeing to the job.
