What is a move-in clean?
It’s our end of lease package, booked for the home you’re moving into: the same detailed checklist, extras and price, for an empty home. Booking it before your belongings arrive means every cupboard, wardrobe and appliance can be cleaned inside before you fill it.

Once furniture and boxes are in, a deep clean suits better: it’s planned for a furnished home.
Moving out as well?
Book an end of lease clean for the old place and a move-in clean for the new one.
KEYS, ACCESS AND REMOVALISTS
Planning a clean between the keys and moving day
Book the clean for the earliest day you have access and the power and water are on, with a gap before the removalists arrive. If keys and furniture arrive on the same day, book the clean first and the truck for the afternoon.
Access
We don’t hold keys. Meet the cleaner, or leave a lockbox code, and book any building lift or visitor access with the strata or building manager.
Power and water
Connect electricity and water before the clean; the clean can’t go ahead without them.
Empty cupboards and appliances
Nothing to unpack yet is the point: the oven, dishwasher, cupboards and wardrobes are cleaned inside while they’re empty.
Parking
Arrange a visitor space or add parking instructions to your booking.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFOREHAND
Outside the usual scope
Mould removal, hazardous waste, heavy lifting, high-reach areas and chandeliers aren’t part of these domestic cleans. Repairs, pest control and gardening need separate arrangements.
Carpet steam cleaning isn’t part of our cleans and isn’t offered in booking; vacuuming is included. If your lease asks for a professional carpet clean, book a carpet cleaner and keep the receipt.
Regrouting, sealing, exterior windows and other specialist work aren’t part of our cleans. A balcony, patio or garage can be added as an extra; ask the team about anything else before booking.

For an empty home, book the move-in clean: it’s the end of lease package, with interior windows, inside wardrobes and walls wiped down. If you’ve already moved in, book deep. For an everyday clean of a home that’s already in good shape, standard is enough.

Inclusions come from the checklist our cleaners work through on every visit of that service, and the extras offered in booking. Prices are AUD per visit from our booking calculator, including GST and the Care & Cover fee, for a home that has been kept on top of, with no extras or discount code. Prices are the same in every city we serve. Time booked is for one cleaner; a team of two shares it, so they are on site for about half as long. Regrouting, sealing, mould removal and exterior windows are not part of any clean.

How long does a move-in clean take?
We book 4h 50m of cleaner time for a 2 bed, 1 bath home. A team of two shares that time, so they’re on site for about half as long.

Booked time for a home that has been kept on top of, with no extras. A home that needs more attention, and extras, add time. The total labour is the same whether one cleaner or a team does it, and so is the price; a team simply finishes sooner. We do not yet have enough measured visits of this service to publish a measured time.
BEFORE THE FURNITURE ARRIVES
If you’re renting, record the condition first
Your entry condition report is the benchmark when you move out, so record the home as you find it before the clean. Note and photograph marks, stains and damage, and return your copy of the report by the deadline your state sets.
If the home was left dirty, note that on the report too. We clean to our checklist, but we don’t repair damage, remove mould or clean the outside of the property.

If something in the agreed cleaning scope needs attention, report it within 48 hours after the clean. The team checks it against what you booked, and an eligible re-clean of those areas is completed at no extra charge within seven business days of the original clean, under our Care & Cover terms.
The 48 hours start when the clean finishes, so walk through before the furniture arrives and tell us about anything we missed.

The checklist is the same: it’s our end of lease package, booked for an empty home you’re moving into. You book it as an end of lease clean, and the price is the same.
02Do I need to be there?
No, as long as the cleaner can get in. Meet them, or leave a lockbox code and any building access details in your booking notes. We don’t hold keys.
03Can you clean on the day I get the keys?
Often, if there’s availability for your date and the power and water are on. Book the clean before the removalists, not after.
04Is carpet steam cleaning included?
No. Vacuuming is included, but carpet steam cleaning isn’t offered. Book a carpet cleaner if you want the carpets done before you move in.
05What if something was missed?
Tell us within 48 hours of the clean finishing. An eligible re-clean is completed within seven business days of the original clean, under our Care & Cover terms.
