How much does commercial cleaning cost?

$99 per cleaner-hour including GST, with a 2-hour minimum. A recurring schedule of one to four visits a week takes 20% off the cleaning charge. Care & Cover is added to each visit, and booking shows the full total before you pay.

Current Simply Maid price · AUD including GST and Care & Cover · per visit
Cleaner-hours per visitOne-off visitEach visit on a weekly plan
2 hours$210$169
3 hours$312$251
4 hours$414$332

Two visits a week cost twice the weekly per-visit price; the discount stays at 20% whether you book one visit a week or four. There is no lock-in contract, and a visit can be cancelled free at least 24 hours before it starts. Plan a weekly or monthly budget in the pricing guide.

How many hours will my premises need?

Booking suggests hours from your floor area, desks, rooms, kitchenettes and toilets. These examples use the same estimate. It is a starting point, not a promise to finish any premises in that time: you choose the hours you buy, and you can change them after the first visit.

Suggested cleaner-hours per visit · cleaning charge including GST, before Care & Cover
Example premisesSuggested hoursOne-off cleaning chargeWeekly plan, per visit
Ground-floor business up to 100 m²: reception, one kitchenette, two toilets2 hours$198$158.40
Shared floor of 201–400 m²: reception, two lounges, one kitchenette, four toilets4.5 hours$445.50$356.40

Over 400 m², or more than 40 desks, booking does not suggest hours; choose them yourself, up to six cleaner-hours a visit. Two cleaners for one hour count as two cleaner-hours.

Which kind of business clean fits a Gold Coast workplace?

This service is routine cleaning for offices, shops, gyms and shared business spaces. On the Gold Coast that covers much of the local economy, with one large exception. Health care and social assistance is the city's biggest employer, with 58,375 local jobs or 16.6% of the total in 2024/25, but medical and clinical spaces are specialist work this service doesn't include. Consulting rooms, treatment areas and anything that needs sterilisation need a medical cleaning specialist.

Retail trade is the city's third-largest employer, with 9.9% of local jobs. Office-based businesses are numerous too: professional, scientific and technical services make up 13.4% of the city's registered businesses, and rental, hiring and real estate services another 14.6%, against 11.7% across Queensland. For a shopfront or a small office, the useful questions are how many cleaner-hours the space needs each visit and whether a regular weekly visit suits better than a one-off.

Food production sites, industrial premises, high-access windows on towers, pressure washing and strip-and-seal floor work are outside this service wherever you are.

Where Gold Coast business cleaning happens: Southport and the other centres

Southport is the city's official business centre. The Queensland Government declared a 198.3 hectare Priority Development Area there on 4 October 2013, with the stated vision of delivering the Gold Coast Central Business District and a mix of residential, retail, commercial, financial, educational and community uses.

Southport isn't the only business centre. The City of Gold Coast names Southport, Bundall, Chevron Island and Varsity Lakes as its busy commercial precincts, describes Surfers Paradise as a commercial hub, and runs a separate parking area for the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. Each has its own parking rules, covered in the next section.

If your workplace is in a tower or a strata building, the body corporate's registered by-laws can control how common property such as lifts, foyers and car parks is used. Before an after-hours clean, ask your building manager how a contractor gets in once the foyer closes: whether there is a sign-in or induction, which entry and lift the cleaner should use, and whether security needs the cleaner's name in advance. Put the answers in your access instructions.

Parking, loading zones, keys and alarms on the Gold Coast

A loading zone is for unloading, not for parking through a clean. In the City of Gold Coast, a general loading zone with no time on its sign allows 20 minutes for a private vehicle and 30 minutes for a commercial vehicle, and only while loading or unloading goods or passengers. Commercial loading zones need a council permit unless the vehicle is a commercially registered ute, van or dual cab, and the limit there is 30 minutes unless signed otherwise.

Street parking in the business centres is time-limited during the day. In the Southport Traffic Area parking is limited to two hours from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays, with no time limits on weekends, and on-street meters run Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. In Bundall and Chevron Island the Traffic Area limit is three hours on weekdays, and Bundall's meters run from 9 am to 7 pm every day. In Surfers Paradise on-street parking is generally managed from 9 am to 7 pm daily. Signs can vary these rules, and inside a Traffic Area you can't move to another spot to keep parking. A bay in your building or a nearby car park, written into the booking, saves the cleaner from leaving mid-visit.

For a clean outside opening hours, decide how the cleaner gets in and out: a key or swipe card held by building security, a lockbox, or an on-site contact who meets them. Write down the alarm steps for arming and disarming, say who to call if it goes off, and tell your monitoring company that a cleaner is expected. Change codes when the people with access change.

How Gold Coast bookings are matched to approved cleaners

Availability is on request. Book online or call 1300 009 363, and we confirm your date once a cleaner approved for business work can reach your address and fit the full visit. Nothing is charged before that. After-hours arrival windows are offered only where that is possible, and never with an arrival after 9 pm.

Book without a site visit or a contract

  1. Choose your premises and weekly days, or a one-off visit.
  2. Select an area range, add amenities and choose your cleaner-hours.
  3. Enter the address, mobile number and access instructions. Add a colleague as the on-site contact if needed.
  4. Choose your first date and arrival window, review the full total and book.

Cleaner-hours are the total cleaning labour you purchase. Where a team attends, the elapsed visit may be shorter. Additional work needs your agreement.
