How much does a deep clean cost in Brisbane?
A deep clean of a 1 bed, 1 bath home costs $329 one-off, against $221 for a standard clean, and the difference holds at every home size because both rise by the same amount per room.
The difference buys more time for detailed work on the dishwasher, bathroom vanities, range hood, tile grout, skirting boards and window sills and tracks. Cleaning inside the oven is included. Cleaning inside the fridge and inside kitchen cabinets and drawers is optional and costs extra. What do Brisbane companies charge for a deep clean?
One Brisbane company publishes a fixed deep-clean price list we could compare: Easy Bliss charges $380 for 2 rooms and 1 bathroom and $500 for 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, both including GST (checked 2 October and again 11 October 2026).
Easy Bliss counts "rooms", not just bedrooms. Studies, media and rumpus rooms and extra living or dining areas each count as a room, so a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a study prices as 4 rooms, which is $580 on its list. The full list runs from $340 for 1 room and 1 bathroom to $700 for 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms. Our price counts bedrooms and bathrooms only.
The scope is not the same as ours. Its deep clean lists fans, detailed skirting, the rangehood exterior and filters, the microwave and cupboard exteriors. The oven is extra at $109 for a 60 cm oven or $135 for a 70 to 90 cm oven, a fridge from $109, inside windows $15 per double window and louvre windows $20 for up to 10 louvres. Our deep clean includes the inside of the oven; fridge and cupboard interiors are optional extras with both. So for a like-for-like comparison, add the oven to its price: a 2 room, 1 bathroom home with a 60 cm oven comes to $489.
Two more lines of fine print: Queensland public holidays carry a 30% surcharge on its list, and its 72-hour re-clean policy is stated for move-in and bond cleans, not deep cleans. Our 48-hour re-clean promise applies to deep cleans.

A price is counted as lower or higher only when it is a stated price for the same bedrooms and bathrooms and is not a regular-visit rate. “Included” means the task is on that service’s checklist at no extra charge; “not offered” means it is neither on the checklist nor bookable as an extra for that service. Listed prices include GST. Because the Care & Cover fee includes card processing, which grows with the total, an extra adds a little more than its listed price: the $46 inside oven deep clean extra adds $47 to a 2 bed, 1 bath one-off. Extras on a regular plan are charged on the first visit unless you add them again. On completed cleans since our current booking platform began in April 2026, 24% of standard cleans (125) and 37% of deep cleans (89) added at least one paid extra.
How does build-up affect a deep clean?
Some build-up adds 60 minutes of cleaner time with a listed price adjustment of $93, before recurring frequency adjustments. A home that needs a proper reset has its own allowance and charge. The table uses current booking totals for the same home; first-visit adjustments drop off later visits.
Before you book, compare the cost of the condition charge with the price difference to a standard clean: a home that has gone a while often needs a deep clean's extra time anyway. The table shows each total for the same home.

What makes a Brisbane deep clean take longer?
Mostly size: Brisbane homes have more bedrooms than the national average, and hard-water film and a humid summer add bathroom work.
Bigger homes
In the 2021 Census, 41.1% of occupied homes in Greater Brisbane had four or more bedrooms, against 34.8% nationally (ABS). Our Brisbane deep cleans showed the same pattern: only 44.8% of the 449 on our old platform were one- or two-bedroom homes, against 62.3% across all seven cities, and the sizes booked most often were 2 bed, 2 bath and 3 bed, 2 bath. Each extra bedroom and bathroom adds skirting, fans, sills and grout, which is why the price steps up with them.
Moderately hard water
Seqwater's August 2026 results for Brisbane sampling sites show total hardness between 71 mg/L (Aspley Reservoir) and 120 mg/L (Wellers Hill). That sits in the national guidelines' 60 to 200 mg/L "good quality" band, but hard water still leaves scale on hot water fittings (NHMRC). Shower screens and taps that have not been descaled for a long time take longer, and old marks may not lift fully.
Wet-season bathrooms
Every month from December to March averages more than 137 mm of rain at the Bureau of Meteorology's Brisbane station, and 3 pm humidity is highest from January to March (BOM). Bathrooms and laundries dry slowly then. If grout or a bathroom ceiling has built up over a damp summer, that build-up is what adds time, not the postcode.

Elapsed time on site: on 165 recent cleans with check-in and check-out times from our cleaner app, it was a median 99% of the visit's scheduled window (middle half 79–115%); a team's window is shorter because the work is shared. Measured labour: every cleaner's clocked time added together came to a median 2h 49m for a standard clean, across 90 of those visits.
