How much does carpet cleaning cost in Brisbane?
Simply Maid charges $60 for each bedroom or study up to 12 m², GST included; a living room counts as two of those, a hallway as half and a flight of stairs as one and a half. A $150 minimum applies once, so one bedroom totals $160 with the booking fee. Other Brisbane providers we checked advertise $45–$45 a room, usually with their own minimum. How long until I can walk on the carpet and put furniture back?
It depends on the fibre, how wet the carpet needed to be, airflow and the weather, so your cleaner tells you on the day rather than us promising a fixed number of hours. Open windows or run fans where you can, keep pets and shoes off, and wait until the carpet is dry to the touch before furniture goes back. The cleaner time in the calculator is the visit itself; drying continues after it.

When a banner and a detailed table appear to give different prices, ask which offer applies to your room list. Do not average the figures or assume the lowest number includes everything. Request the complete payable amount in writing, including GST and any confirmed access charge.

Separate stairs to clean from stairs to climb
For a hypothetical home with bedrooms on one level and a carpeted stair flight between levels, record the bedroom measurements and the stair selection separately. Then describe how equipment reaches those areas.
An uncarpeted staircase on the access route is not a carpet-cleaning selection. Conversely, carpeted stairs do not become included just because the cleaner uses them to reach a room. Clear language prevents a bedroom-only quote from being mistaken for a whole-home carpet clean.
This is a planning example for a multi-level property, not a claim about the layout of every Brisbane home.

Compare one combined booking correctly
If carpets are part of a larger move-out or deep clean, ask for one combined quote showing the selected carpet work. A discounted or bundled room rate may depend on buying other services; compare the whole package against the whole package.
Simply Maid's carpet steam-cleaning minimum applies once across selected carpet areas and suitable furnishings. House-cleaning work has its own scope. Do not add two standalone checkout totals and assume the result matches a combined booking, because booking fees may be counted twice.
