How much does carpet cleaning cost in Gold Coast?
Simply Maid charges $60 for each bedroom or study up to 12 m², GST included; a living room counts as two of those, a hallway as half and a flight of stairs as one and a half. A $150 minimum applies once, so one bedroom totals $160 with the booking fee. Other Gold Coast providers we checked advertise $30–$30 a room, usually with their own minimum. How long until I can walk on the carpet and put furniture back?
It depends on the fibre, how wet the carpet needed to be, airflow and the weather, so your cleaner tells you on the day rather than us promising a fixed number of hours. Open windows or run fans where you can, keep pets and shoes off, and wait until the carpet is dry to the touch before furniture goes back. The cleaner time in the calculator is the visit itself; drying continues after it.

Turn the apartment description into a carpet schedule
For a hypothetical two-bedroom apartment, list the two bedrooms, any carpeted living area and any passage you want cleaned. If the living area is tiled, do not include it as carpet work. If it is an open carpeted lounge and dining space, measure it and check the allowance.

Confirm the route from parking to the rooms
Ask each provider how parking, loading access, lift bookings and building entry affect its quote. Record any known time restrictions. An unanswered access question is not evidence that there will be a surcharge, but it also should not be silently treated as included.
Explain stairs used to reach the property separately from carpeted stairs you want cleaned. Keep access arrangements in the written job description so every provider prices the same circumstances.

A bundled offer may contain services you do not need, or omit areas you assumed were included. Check the cleaning method, room-size limits, vacuuming, furniture handling and stain assessment. If pest treatment or other specialist work appears in another company's package, do not treat it as part of Simply Maid's carpet service.

Price the move-out work after clarifying the requirement
For a Queensland rental, consult the RTA pet guidance where pet approval is relevant. Professional-standard requirements and the actual carpet areas are separate questions.
Choose the rooms explicitly when adding extraction to an end-of-lease house clean. Keep the agreement, condition record, booking scope and completion record together. A carpet-cleaning receipt is not a guarantee that a bond will be released.

The cleaner's appointment and the next use of the room are separate commitments. A fixed handover or furniture-delivery time should be discussed before reserving the visit, rather than justified by a generic drying estimate.
