How long until I can walk on the carpet and put furniture back?
It depends on the fibre, how wet the carpet needed to be, airflow and the weather, so your cleaner tells you on the day rather than us promising a fixed number of hours. Open windows or run fans where you can, keep pets and shoes off, and wait until the carpet is dry to the touch before furniture goes back. Simply Maid's carpet service uses hot-water extraction, commonly called steam cleaning. The Magic Dry Perth website promotes dry cleaning and lists room prices with minimum conditions. Its method and drying claims belong to that provider's offer; they cannot be transferred to an extraction booking.
Ask what process is included and check it against the carpet manufacturer's instructions. If you do not know the carpet or its care requirements, ask for assessment. Comparing two dollar figures before resolving suitability can make a different service look like a saving.

Check whether a minimum is conditional
An offer available when a provider is already in the area is conditional. Confirm whether it applies to your address and date before using it as the final quote. Do the same for room-package limits, empty-room requirements and any larger-area allowance.

Count a living space by its actual carpeted area
For a hypothetical open living and dining area, measure the connected carpet rather than splitting it into two small bedrooms on the quote form. Ask how the provider handles the dimensions, passage and any separate carpeted space.
Write down what furniture will remain. A quote for accessible areas in a furnished room does not mean the cleaner will move heavy furniture or reach the floor beneath it. Those questions should be settled before comparing package totals.
