Telling us about your home
- Pets are welcome. Tell us about them in booking: they need to be secured or supervised while the cleaner works.
- Natural stone, timber, unsealed floors, matte paint or antiques? Say how to treat them, and what not to touch, in your booking notes.
- Your cleaner brings the products and equipment, including a vacuum and mop. If a surface needs your own product, leave it out with a note.
- Add parking, intercom, lift and alarm details to your booking notes. Door codes and key locations go in booking's access field, never in the notes.

03Do you clean carpets, curtains, windows or gutters in Gungahlin?
Simply Maid cleans the inside of homes: kitchens, bathrooms, floors and surfaces, with standard, deep and end of lease cleans. Carpets are vacuumed on every clean. Inside the oven, fridge and cupboards and interior windows are extras on a standard clean; a deep clean includes the oven, fridge and cupboards, and an end of lease clean includes those and interior windows. Blinds and wall washing can be added to a deep or end of lease clean. Carpet steam cleaning, curtains, couches and upholstery, mattresses, rugs, outside or high windows, pressure washing, gutters, air-conditioners and office cleaning are not services we offer — book a specialist for those.
04What if something is missed?
Tell us within 48 hours and we’ll arrange a free re-clean of the areas we missed. We re-clean what you booked, within seven business days. It doesn’t apply when the clean couldn’t go ahead as booked, such as no access, water or power. If you’re still unhappy, we’ll review it and offer a fair credit or refund. This is our Care & Cover promise, not a guarantee of a perfect clean.
05When do I pay?
After the clean. Nothing is charged when you book; a temporary security hold may be placed on your card before the visit, and a hold is not a charge. Your full price is shown before you confirm.
06Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. No need to be home if you arrange access. Reschedule or cancel free with 24 hours’ notice. Cancelling inside 24 hours of the clean costs $70.
