On the day of your job, open the booking from your Today screen. A bottom action bar appears with two buttons.
Step 1 — Tap "En Route" when you leave
Pick your ETA: 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes
The customer is automatically notified by SMS with your arrival time
You can tap this from anywhere — your driveway, a café, the previous job
Step 2 — Tap "Start Job" when you arrive at the property
This is your official check-in
Starts the job timer and unlocks the interactive checklist
Protects your Reliability score (40% of your composite score) by recording on-time arrival
Why check-in matters:
It's the single easiest way to build your score as a new provider
Customers see exactly when to expect you — fewer "are you coming?" calls
Auto-assigned providers still benefit: on-time check-ins speed up your path to Trusted tier
Important:
Job actions only appear on the day of service — if it's tomorrow, you'll see "Job actions available on the day of service"
If you've been auto-assigned (Trusted tier and above) you'll see a green "Auto-assigned — no action needed" strip. Check in normally.
If plans change, tap Can't Attend instead of skipping check-in
